My seventh grade daughter brought my attention to this story - Primary School Teacher tells class that Father Christmas isn't real.
She told me she thought the teacher should get some kind of consequence, but shouldn't be fired over the incident (she wants to be a teacher when she grows up, so perhaps there's some self-preservation in her opinion). After all, not everyone had good parents when they were kids, and maybe the teacher's own parents pretended there was no Father Christmas. Maybe the teacher even believes there isn't a Father Christmas. We need to be charitable to those less fortunate than ourselves.
So enjoy the little ones in your lives today. I will. Merry Christmas.
