Sadly, vacation is almost over. So my non-work related post for today, while still technically non-work related, is something useful for those of us who have no choice but to ocassionally conduct personal business during work hours.
It's extremely difficult to call companies while you're at work because of the endless voicemail menus that all too often wind up going no where near where you needed to be. The website Get Human has compiled a long list of companies along with the secret to getting your phone call immediately routed to a human being. No promises on how well the human winds up helping you, but at least you'll have a shot at getting what you need before your lunch break is over.
