I grew up in North Carolina and Maryland, and went to law school in Los Angeles. I have lived in Austin Texas for the last 20 years.
As an attorney, I represent songwriters and musicians, parents who have children with special needs, and school teachers. I handle copyrights and all sorts of music related contracts, estate planning, guardianship, and employment issues. Of course, I also handle all sorts of school law issues - contracts, appraisals, growth plans, leave of absence, special education, certification, etc.
As a person, I have a husband who is a touring musician, and four children - a 12 year old ballet dancer who wants to be a special ed teacher, a 14 year old fabulously talented poet, a 16 year old monster truck lover with cerebral palsy and a 14 year old Disney fanatic with autism.
Oh, and I have a cat. I love cats.
